The Zanon family, owners of the nearby charming Villa Abbazia Hotel, have chosen a striking setting for their new hotel. The building, which is one half of an eighteenth century complex below the Cistercian Abbey of Santa Maria with its beautiful cloister, has been completely renovated, inside and outside, in a modern key. It overlooks the Palazzo Barberis Rusca and if you stay in one of the rooms facing the palazzo you can tell the time by the clock on the abbey bell tower. It is thanks to Signora Ivana Zanon’s painstaking care that fortunate visitors to Follina can stay in a place that is so rich in history and art. |
