Comment: The physical appearance and your staff were key: the doormen, the Receptionist were warm and helpful (answered all our questions about getting around the neighborhood etc.) Breakfast was a big plus: delicious and again, warm competent staff. Thank you!

Comment: Beim Check in waren die Zimmer in Ordnung. Der Zimmerservice war aber einfach nur schlecht. Es wurden gerade mal die Betten notdürftig gemacht. Benutzte Tassen wurden stehen gelassen, das Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt!Bei den Zimmerpreisen ist das einfach nicht akzeptabel.

Comment: We booked at the hotel on the advice of our tour company Backroads, but I have suggested that they take this hotel off their recommended list. We found our room to be shabby and not clean - the carpets were very stained, the walls were dirty and the bedspread was worn and stained. The A/C didn't work correctly and the room had a very bad odor. Service at check-in was very disorganized and we had to wait until 5:30 to get our room. Although the hotel was in a great location, and the bellhops were very friendly and courteous, we felt we overpaid for what we got.

Comment: Recommend that the website clearly state that the rooms do not have a full shower. Lack of storage space and no hangers in the armoire. Air conditioning was not working, so a fan was provided when requested. Renovations resulted in a paint/varnish odour in the room. Room did not have a flat screen TV as advertised. Great location and friendly staff.

Comment: Our room was very strange in that there was a floor to ceiling window between the bathroom and the bedroom. There was a sheer curtain, but you could still see everything going on in the bathroom. In addition, whenever someone used the bathroom at night, the light would wake up the other person. We had other friends staying at the hotel, couples and singles, and no one else had this "feature" in their room. We were especially confused why you would give this room to a couple and not a single person who reserved the same room type.

Comment: Lighting was dim in the room and especially in the bathroom. A vanity mirror would help with make-up application. The large window was lovely but for privacy it was a nightmare. I had people across the street constantly looking over into my room. The furniture was very basic ....a large rug would have added some warmth in front of the t.v area. The breakfast was very disappointing. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was watery and had absolutely no taste. Peameal bacon or real bacon would have added some taste instead of a slice of ham with no taste. The omelette wasn't much better. The crepes and french toast were good. The staff was lovely..very helpful.

Comment: Excellent séjour ds un hôtel qui change des "chaînes", un peu ancien, rustique, magnifique , un peu cher toutefois , 249 CAD pour une nuit ( dont 28.46 CAD de taxes...obligatoires selon loi, canadienne ) chambre supérieure avec sofa ( tout de même ), bravo , super séjour.

Comment: Les chambres devraient avoir des fenêtres qui s'ouvrent. La décoration des chambres pourraient etre plus chaleureuses. Le petit déjeuner pourrait etre plus copieux et diversifié.

Comment: We had a fabulous stay in Quebec, thanks largely to the staff at Auberge St. Pierre. Maxim and the other personnel went above and beyond to assure us of a wonderful vacation. Their courtesy and suggestions were so appreciated. Merci beaucoup!!!!
